About
I’m Shivansh Sinha, a software engineer focused on cloud-native infrastructure — Kubernetes, distributed systems, and increasingly the tooling that sits between infra and AI systems.
Background
I contribute across several CNCF-ecosystem projects — OpenEverest, KubeStellar, Open Cluster Management, and kro — mostly bug fixes, CI/infra work, and provider-level features. Full breakdown with links on the Contributions page.
I also build things on my own — GenSec (an LLM-assisted vulnerability scanner and patcher for Go) and an Ephemeral Credential Broker (a Kubernetes controller that mints short-lived credentials instead of storing long-lived ones in Secrets). Both are portfolio projects, not startups — the point is demonstrating the pattern cleanly, not selling it.
Currently
- Building GenSec, an LLM-assisted vulnerability scanner and patcher for Go — early-stage, a human still reviews and merges every fix it proposes
- OpenEverest: a curated LLM catalog for the KubeAI provider
- OpenEverest: clickhouse-backup based backup/restore support for the ClickHouse provider
- OpenEverest: a couple of Helm chart fixes under review
This site is mainly where I post write-ups — notes on infrastructure, Kubernetes internals, and whatever else I’m digging into. The rest of this page is just background on who’s writing them.
